Employee Welfare
Toyota Memorial Hospital, Toyota Motor Health Insurance Society, and Toyota Motor Pension Fund
A safe, secure, and healthy working environment is a basic necessity for all employees. The Toyota Memorial Hospital began as a clinic that opened when Toyota's Koromo Plant (now the Honsha Plant) commenced operations in November 1938. Reopening as the Toyota Hospital (now Toyota Memorial Hospital) in 1942, the hospital has continued to keep watch over the health and lives of employees and their families. Recently, the hospital has served the wider community as a regional medical facility. The Toyota Motor Health Insurance Society provides healthcare coverage for employees and their family members and, in recent years, has also turned its attention to providing mental health care and care for the elderly. Toyota's employee pension fund guarantees peace of mind for retirees by providing stable pension benefits.
