The Caldina station wagon that made its debut in November 1992 was accompanied by a commercial-use van with a maximum load capacity of 500 kg. Available either in a front-engine, front-wheel-drive or 4-wheel-drive (4WD) configuration, the Caldina van offered a choice of a 2-liter 73 PS diesel engine (2C) or a 1.5-liter 100 PS gasoline engine (5E-FE). In August 1999, the diesel engine was upgraded to a 2.2-liter 88PS unit (3C-E), and the 4WD model added a 2-liter 165 PS engine (3S-FE). For the rear suspension, the van used a rigid axle leaf spring suspension system instead of the strut suspension employed by the wagon.

Production of the Caldina van was discontinued in July 2002, to be replaced by the Succeed.
