Today, the Company manufactures vehicles and parts at 53 production sites in 27 countries and regions around the globe and is an active member in the communities it serves. In fiscal year 2008, which ended March 31, 2008, the Toyota Group sold approximately 8.91 million vehicles in 170 countries and regions under the Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu and Hino brands.

As the automobile industry faces a turning point in its history, Toyota aims to achieve sustainable growth by building a more flexible and stronger corporate structure to meet the challenges ahead.
