Toyota Environmental Activities Grant Program

In its pursuit of being a company that contributes to measures designed to achieve global regeneration, Toyota has been conducting the Grant Program to support environmental activities implemented by NPOs and other non-profit private groups under the theme of "Environmental Technology and Human Resource Development Contributing to Environmental Revitalization and Conservation."

Asia-Pacific

Toyota Community Spirit (Australia)

TMCA developed Toyota Community Spirit in 2001 to build relationships with the Australian community and stakeholders, encourage employee and dealer participation and deliver long-term sustainable benefits to the environment through partnerships with NGOs.

Toyota China Youth Environmental Protection Aid Program (China)

TMCI has been conducting to promote the environmental grass-roots activities in China together with the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the All-China Youth Federation.

Preventing the Desertification (China)

In Fengning Man Autonomous County of Hebei Province, a region located on the outskirts of Beijing, China that has experienced severe desertification, Toyota is not only conducting reforestation, but is also working to prevent re-desertification and engaging in indirect reforestation measures.

Forest of Toyota (Japan)

Taking "coexistence with people and nature" as its fundamental principle, Toyota is using trees to improve the environment (afforestation) and conducts environmental education and study programs targeting the general public.

Toyota Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute (Japan)

The TOYOTA Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute, a training facility that can accommodate approximately 100 overnight guests, is located in the village of Shirakawa, Gifu Prefecture, and makes use of the local culture and natural environment of Shirakawa-Go to undertake environmental preservation through hands-on environmental educational programs for children and adults.

Toyomori Institute of Sustainable Living (Japan)

An advanced environmental education program is conducted in coordination with Toyota City and environmental NPO.

TOYOTA Mie Miyagawa Mountain Forest

We aim to achieve sustainable and recycling-based forestry by employing the experience gained through overseas afforestation activities in addition to our expertise in automobile production.

Toyota Eco Youth (Malaysia / Indonesia)

High schools near the headquarters of Toyota affiliates took part in the first Toyota Eco Youth program in 2001. The companies have been supporting planning and implementation of environmental improvement projects such as electricity conservation and water discharge treatment.

Rainforest Restoration Initiatives (Philippines)

Starting in 2007, TMC, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the Philippines, the Peñablanca Municipal Government, and Conservation International (CI), an environmental NGO have been engaged in tree-planting activities in the town of Peñablanca, Cagayan Province (about 500km north of Manila), located in the north Luzon of the Philippines.

Eco-Schools is an environmental education program run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE),which helps schools become more sustainable.

North America

TogetherGreen (United States)

Toyota in the U.S. and National Audubon Society launched a nation wide program, "TogetherGreen", to fund conservation projects, train environmental leaders, and offer volunteer opportunities.

South America

Toyota Costa dos Corais (Coral Coast) Project (Brazil)

The investment of TBF makes possible the effective protection of all fauna and flora existing in the largest marine protected area in Brazil.
