Implementation Structures in Japan Focusing on the Corporate Citizenship Division

In 1989, Toyota established the Corporate Citizenship Activity Committee chaired by the company president and comprised of relevant directors to act as the highest level decision-making body. It was renamed the CSR Committee in October 2007 after taking on several new functions previously carried out by other internal organizations. The Corporate Citizenship Division was organized as a specialized division to reinforce corporate social contribution activities.

Overseas Implementation Structures Focusing on Regional Holding Companies

Toyota has established a network linking its head office with bases in North America, Europe, China, and the rest of Asia, which it is continuing to enhance. Toyota reviews regional policies and action plans in close collaboration with regional holding companies.
