Public traffic safety event

TMCI (Toyota Motor China Investment) has been holding experience-based traffic safety events in cooperation with local governments, police and Toyota's affiliates with the aim of raising safety awareness hand-in-hand with local communities. So far, events have been held in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin.

Participants can choose from a variety of traffic safety activities, such as riding alongside instructors and discovering the importance of a proper driving posture and the effect of seatbelts. Other featured activities include learning about vehicle visibility and blind spots as well as a simulated drunk driving experience.
