The C-HR was created for the compact SUV market where customers place strong emphasis on design with the following key concepts: “Distinctive Styling, “Emotionally Appealing Interior for Adults”, and “Responsive Driving”. The Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) enabled structural innovations in “Making Ever-better Cars” to achieve good proportions along with comfort, quiet and driving dynamics. The latter was thoroughly developed on different circuits and road conditions around the world. It also achieves outstanding environmental performance and is equipped with advanced safety features.

Good Design Award 2017

In anticipating taxi needs beyond 2020 in Japan, Toyota created a vehicle that drives the future. Its LPG hybrid powertrain is environmentally conscious and its friendly-looking design is recognizable at a glance. Whether in the old part of town or in a new urban setting, its design seamlessly blends in with the environment. Its low floor and large sliding door greatly enhance ingress/egress and the vast interior provides ample space for a wheelchair. It is also very easy to use around town. From customers to drivers as well as taxi companies, it’s a vehicle that’s meant to make everyone happy.
