Social Contribution Initiatives
Overseas Activities
To support overseas social contribution activities, Toyota has built and is strengthening a network connecting the regional headquarters in North America, Europe, Asia, and China to the Toyota Headquarters (TMC). The regional headquarters carry out activities that are tailored to the needs of each region while maintaining close contact with TMC.
- U.S.:
- The meeting of Toyota U.S. Philanthropy Committee, which has its office based at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMA, is held three or four times a year to review budgets, policies and individual projects related to strategic donations.
- Europe:
- The meeting of the Toyota Fund for Europe, which has its office based at Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA (TME) and is held twice annually, assesses and supports projects submitted by affiliates in each country.
- China:
- Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (TMCI) promotes programs that meet local needs by drawing on suggestions from relevant experts and other sources.
- Rest of Asia:
- Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. (TMAP) assesses and supports the projects of affiliates in each country.
